FAQ
FAQ
The most common questions before a first class.
Do I need to bring a mat?
No. At Yoga Grund we have mats and all the equipment you need. But if you'd rather bring your own mat, that's no problem at all.
Is there an enrolment fee?
No.
If I sign up after the month has already started, do I pay the full fee?
No, you'd only pay the proportional part.
Can I pay by card?
Yes. We accept card, cash and Bizum.
I'm really inflexible, stiff as a board... do you think yoga is for me?
Absolutely. Yoga is for everyone. Forget Instagram and all those impossibly perfect bodies contorting themselves by the seaside. Yoga is something far more accessible, natural — and fun — than all that.
How many times a week is it recommended to practise yoga?
As long as you keep at least one rest day, as often as your body asks for it (and your schedule allows). It's also a good idea to combine yoga with other physical activities.
What is functional yoga?
It's a style that combines traditional hatha yoga postures with principles and techniques from functional training, focused on improving overall physical performance and how the body functions. This approach brings together exercises designed to build strength, stability and mobility in a balanced way, with particular emphasis on key areas like the core (the abdominal-lumbar girdle), the legs, the glutes and the arms.
Is the activity insured?
Yes. Classes are covered by civil liability insurance, protecting against accidents that may occur during practice.
