Playlist

Over the years, music has taken on a more and more discreet role in my classes. At first I'd put together very long playlists. I had to find the perfect song for every moment of the practice. Over time I realised the true protagonist was already there: the breath. And that, more often than not, silence accompanies you better than any melody.

Even so, every now and then a student asks me: "What was that song called?"

So here are some of the playlists that have played over the years. Maybe they'll come in handy for reading, working, resting... or just for remembering a class.

23 songs · 1 h 25 min — piano and ambient, for the end of class.

18 songs · 1 h 6 min — soft piano, for unhurried breathing.

15 songs · 1 h 6 min — gentle rhythm for dynamic sequences.

24 songs · 1 h 48 min — indie and ambient for a full class.

28 songs · 1 h 47 min — ambient and piano, the one this whole place is named after.

30 songs · 4 h 23 min — bowls, flute and devotional music, for the long haul.
